Experiments
When I'm drawing, I always have a glass of water standing next to the drawing. I have never knocked one over while drawing, but at some point I kept thinking about it and it made me curious.

What will happen if I accidentally knock over a glass of water all over my drawing?

It gave me the idea to make a very colourfull drawing that I could use as an experiment. That became "Experiment 1", as you can see on the page 'Playing with light'. Since I was going to pour water over it, I decided to go for a contrasting theme; a dry desert. Once I had finished the drawing, I liked it too much to pour water over it.
I decided to make a second version of the drawing, this time only with the outlines and the colours. The result is a play of lines with fading colours.

I did the same with the drawing of the vinyl, "Feels right", also with only the outlines and the colours. Because I was a little more experienced, I knew I had to make the coloured parts a bit bigger. Otherwise all the colour would fade away. That was what happened with the first experiment and I had to add some colour a lot of times.

This m is the first drawing I made with the overlapping colour levels. I did it to see how it would turn out and to try to create a certain effect.
The drawing below is rather a study than an experiment. I've drawn six mountains, each a bit different. Each time it was based on the three colour levels; pink, blue and yellow.
